Week Two: Groups and Clients

So this week we got our groups from Caroline during our Monday lecture. I am happy with the with my group which consist of Gussy, Gavin Lorraine and Mo. I know they all can do good work and are creative so we should come up with some good work for our client. We also got our clients this week, we had a group discussion and we made a vote of our top three clients each, then we look at which was the most common choice. Which turned out to be the CoderDojo that is a volunteer group that teaches kids and teens coding here at DkIT.

So after that class we decided to do some research on the CoderDojo Dundalk and we didn't find much as they have a website but it just a blank page with ads and their logo. We did see they have a page on the DkIT website describing what they do and where to join but is was very simple. So we decided to wait for our supervisor to contact us, as they were to be the middleman between us and the clients. We found out that our supervisor was Rory Walsh. So we emailed him asking if he had know more on the clients. He said that he was going to be in contact with them some time during the week, so he will have information for us next Monday. But he asking if there was anything that we would like to do, we told him we would be up for anything they could give us.
