Week Ten: Disappointing Pitch

We had our Pich this week and I think we presented our self's very well, but the content was too simple, the group had made the point that we shouldn't bother with any. We should have done more research as I was saying but the group said that we only need concepts and no real research, but in the questions after the presentation it was obvious that some research was needed and so when our client started to ask question on where the theory was behind the design our designers didn't have many answers. After that, I have decided that we need to start a design brief that has the theory and reasons for choosing the colors not just on a whim as our two designers have so.

I am having a real struggle with trying to get the group to take the work more seriously. I don't want to be telling the other members what they should be doing, as that is not my role in the group, I'm the just to do the technical stuff like making the website, it was explained to me that I have to make my work look like the style the designer has chosen. I don't think the quality of work that been in done is very good at the moment so I'm not very happy with that idea.
